The International Graduate Conference in Communication was hosted by the Communication Studies Department of the PhD School of Philosophy, Sociology and Political Science in the West University of Timișoara and invited Ph.D. students to share their research, including work in progress and parts of their theses. Organized with the support of the Romanian Ph.D. Schools from the Communication Science field in Romania, from the University of Bucharest, Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, National University of Political Studies and Public Administration and Alexandru Ioan Cuza University Iași, the conference provided a venue for discussing and reflecting upon the research efforts that graduate students in social sciences are currently engaged in.

This Volume is the result of the efforts of the examination of ideas made by the Phd students, research topics, questions, and applications, with a consistent emphasis on potentialities, including the understanding of the limitations that some research can encounter in media communication, intergenerational communication, organizational communication, social media, visual communication, political communication, communication and AI, virtual communication, (digital, native, and influencer) advertising, public relations applied and professional communication, digital media, journalism and data journalism; media and sustainability.
